The Fractal Design North XL TG Dark (Model: FD-C-NOR1X-02) is a full-featured E-ATX mid tower cabinet finished in Charcoal Black. It marries a living-room-friendly aesthetic — with FSC-certified oak or walnut front panel bars and a faux-leather pull tab — with the kind of airflow engineering demanded by high-performance PC builds. The tempered glass dark-tinted side panel lets you showcase your components while keeping the exterior understated. The interior is designed to accommodate a wide range of hardware configurations. Motherboard support spans E-ATX, ATX, mATX, and Mini-ITX form factors, and the chassis accepts ATX power supplies up to 290 mm (with one HDD tray installed) or 175 mm (with two trays). Graphics cards up to 413 mm long fit with the front fans installed; up to 380 mm when a 33 mm-thick 420/360 mm front radiator is mounted. Cooling flexibility is a highlight. The front accepts up to a 420/360 mm radiator and three 140 mm fans (three Fractal Design Aspect 140mm PWM fans are included). The top can host radiators up to 360/280 mm and fans up to 3 × 120 mm, 2 × 140 mm, or even 2 × 180 mm. A single 120/140 mm fan or radiator fits at the rear. In total the TG version supports up to 7 × 120 mm or 6 × 140 mm fan positions. Dust filters are provided at the front and PSU intake to protect components over time. Connectivity at the front includes one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port (up to 20 Gbps), two USB 3.0 ports, and a combined audio/mic jack. Seven expansion slots serve multi-GPU or high-card-count configurations. Cable management is eased by 29 mm of routing space behind the motherboard tray, rubber-grommetted pass-throughs, and fixed cable straps. Captive thumbscrews are used throughout — on HDD brackets, SSD bracket, side panels, fan bracket, and PSU bracket — minimising the chance of losing hardware during builds or upgrades. Storage mounts include two dedicated 2.5-inch SSD positions and two combined 3.5/2.5-inch drive bays (trays included). There are no 5.25-inch bays.
