The ASRock Phantom Gaming X870 Riptide WiFi is an ATX-form-factor motherboard built on the AMD X870 chipset, designed for AMD Socket AM5 processors including the Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series. Its 8-layer PCB and 14+2+1 phase power design with 80A Dr.MOS for VCore and SOC rails provide a stable power delivery foundation for both everyday productivity and demanding workloads. Memory is handled through four DDR5 DIMM slots supporting dual-channel operation with capacities up to 256 GB and speeds reaching DDR5-8000+ in overclocked configurations. Both Intel XMP and AMD EXPO memory profiles are supported, making memory tuning straightforward. Storage options are generous: a primary Blazing M.2 slot (M2_1) runs at PCIe Gen 5 x4 for up to 128 Gb/s throughput, two additional Hyper M.2 slots operate at PCIe Gen 4 x4 (64 Gb/s each), and four SATA3 6.0 Gb/s ports round out storage connectivity.
