The Thermaltake CTE E550 TG ARGB is a dual-chamber mid-tower chassis built for builders who want full visual impact without sacrificing hardware flexibility. Three 4mm tempered glass panels — front, rear, and left side — deliver a panoramic view of internal components that rivals open-frame designs while maintaining the structural integrity and dust protection of a closed chassis. The case is engineered to accommodate both standard ATX and next-generation hidden-connector motherboards. It is explicitly compatible with ASUS BTF Series, MSI PROJECT ZERO Series, and GIGABYTE PROJECT STEALTH Series boards, so cable routing behind the motherboard tray is fully supported without modification. GPU mounting offers three distinct configurations: a floating centre-chassis placement using the included floating GPU bracket (riser cable sold separately), a vertical upright hang, or an upright-forward position with the card facing the side panel via the rotational PCIe slots. This flexibility lets builders adapt the visual presentation of their GPU to suit their aesthetic goals. Cooling headroom is a standout strength. Up to eight 120mm fans (or six 140mm fans) can be installed across the top, motherboard-side, and bottom positions. AIO liquid coolers up to 420mm can be mounted on the motherboard side; the bottom accepts up to a 420mm DIY radiator configuration. A 240mm radiator is also supported at the top. Cable management is handled via the dedicated right-side chamber, which includes multiple anchor points, Velcro straps, and cable ties included in the accessory box. The top I/O panel provides two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and one HD Audio jack. Removable dust filters are positioned at the top, bottom, and right side.
