The ASRock Z490 Steel Legend is a full-size ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z490 chipset, designed for Intel 10th Generation Core processors using the LGA1200 (Socket 1200) interface. Measuring 12.0 x 9.6 inches (30.5 x 24.4 cm) and constructed on a 2oz copper PCB with High Density Glass Fabric, the board is engineered for both reliable everyday use and enthusiast-level overclocking. At its core, the Z490 Steel Legend features an 11-phase Dr.MOS Digi Power Design with a premium 60A power choke and 50A Dr.MOS components, supported by Nichicon 12K Black Caps for stable, long-lasting power delivery. The board accepts up to four DDR4 DIMMs with a total capacity of 128GB, supporting speeds from DDR4-2133 up to DDR4-4266+ under XMP 2.0 overclocking profiles. Storage connectivity is comprehensive: six SATA3 6.0 Gb/s ports support RAID 0/1/5/10 via Intel Rapid Storage Technology 17, while two Ultra M.2 sockets (PCIe Gen3 x4 / SATA3) allow NVMe SSDs at up to 32 Gb/s.
