The GIGABYTE B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 is an ATX-form-factor motherboard built on the AMD B550 chipset for the AM4 socket, supporting AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors as well as 3rd Gen Ryzen and 3rd Gen Ryzen with Radeon Graphics processors. Measuring 30.5 cm x 24.4 cm, it fits standard ATX enclosures and ships with a pre-installed I/O shield for straightforward assembly. Power delivery is handled by a 12+2 phase Digital Twin Power Design using 50A DrMOS components, fed through a 24-pin ATX main connector and an 8-pin ATX 12V connector. This arrangement distributes load across phases to maintain stable voltages under sustained CPU workloads. Memory support spans four DDR4 DIMM slots with a maximum capacity of 128 GB (up to 32 GB per DIMM).
