The ASRock Z790 PG-ITX/TB4 is a Mini-ITX motherboard built on the Intel Z790 chipset, designed to fit into compact 6.7 × 6.7-inch (17.0 × 17.0 cm) chassis while delivering a high-end feature set typically associated with full-size boards. It is compatible with 12th and 13th Generation Intel Core processors via the LGA1700 socket and supports Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0, Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB), and Adaptive Boost Technology (ABT). Power delivery is handled by a 10+1+1 phase VRM built around 105 A Smart Power Stage (SPS) Dr.MOS components. A ten-layer PCB underpins the design, providing stable signal routing and improved thermal characteristics during memory overclocking. Memory support covers dual-channel DDR5 across two DIMM slots with a maximum capacity of 64 GB and speeds up to DDR5-6800+ under XMP/EXPO overclocking profiles; Intel XMP 3.0 is natively supported.
