Cooler Master MWE 850 V2 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular SMPS

The Cooler Master MWE 850 V2 is an 850-watt fully modular power supply carrying the 80 Plus Gold efficiency certification. With 80 Plus Gold certification, this unit delivers high efficiency under typical load conditions, reducing heat output inside your chassis and helping keep electricity costs in check over the long term. Cooling is managed by a 120mm Hydrodynamic Bearing (HDB) fan. HDB technology uses a thin film of fluid between the fan shaft and bearing sleeve, which lowers friction, extends operational lifespan compared to sleeve-bearing designs, and keeps noise levels relatively low during normal operation. The fully modular cabling system means every cable — including the ATX motherboard connector — can be detached when not in use. This makes cable management significantly cleaner and improves airflow inside mid-tower and full-tower builds where excess cabling would otherwise occupy valuable space. Two EPS connectors are included, making this PSU suitable for high-end motherboards and platforms that require dual CPU power connections. This is particularly relevant for workstation boards and enthusiast desktop platforms that draw more power through the CPU power headers. The unit is designed with high-temperature resilience, allowing it to maintain stable power delivery even in warmer operating environments — a practical consideration for compact builds or regions with elevated ambient temperatures. Cooler Master backs this power supply with a 5-year warranty, providing a meaningful assurance of long-term reliability.
