Data integrity is a central design priority for the FA100. The drive supports 4K LDPC (Low-Density Parity-Check) error correction alongside S.M.A.R.T. monitoring, providing robust protection against data errors that can accumulate during intensive read and write cycles. HMB (Host Memory Buffer) support allows the drive to borrow a portion of the host system's DRAM to simulate an SLC cache, reducing latency and improving sustained performance without the cost of an onboard DRAM chip.
