The ADATA Legend 840 1TB is a high-performance M.2 2280 internal solid-state drive built on the PCIe Gen4 x4 interface with NVMe 1.4 protocol support. Powered by the Innogrit IG5220 controller and 3D NAND flash memory, it delivers sequential read speeds of up to 5,000 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 4,500 MB/s, making it a substantial step up from previous-generation storage solutions. Random 4K read performance reaches up to 650,000 IOPS and random 4K write performance reaches up to 600,000 IOPS, supporting fluid multitasking and fast application launches. The Legend 840 includes SLC caching and HMB (Host Memory Buffer) technology to sustain throughput during prolonged workloads.
