The ADATA XPG GAMMIX S50 CORE is a 2TB M.2 2280 NVMe solid state drive built on the PCIe Gen4 x4 interface, delivering sequential read speeds of up to 3,500 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 2,800 MB/s. These figures represent a substantial throughput increase over PCIe Gen3 NVMe drives and an even greater step up from SATA-based SSDs, translating into noticeably faster game load times, quicker large-file transfers, and more responsive system performance overall. Designed with gamers and power users in mind, the GAMMIX S50 CORE integrates an SLC caching algorithm alongside HMB (Host Memory Buffer) technology to optimise multi-file processing efficiency. Data integrity is handled by an LDPC (Low Density Parity Check) error-correction mechanism, while AES-based encryption protects data in transit and at rest. The drive is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 motherboards, so it can be adopted without a platform upgrade.
