AMD Ryzen 9 9950X Processor with Radeon Graphics

The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X is the 16-core flagship of the Ryzen 9000 series (codename Granite Ridge), built on the Zen 5 architecture and TSMC’s 4 nm FinFET process for the CPU cores, with a 6 nm I/O die. It packs 16 physical cores and 32 threads via simultaneous multithreading, a 4.3 GHz base clock, and a peak boost of up to 5.7 GHz, paired with 1280 KB of L1, 16 MB of L2 and 64 MB of L3 cache. Default TDP is rated at 170 W with a maximum operating temperature (Tjmax) of 95 degC. The 9950X drops into Socket AM5 motherboards, with vendor-supported chipsets including A620, B650, B650E, X670, X670E, X870 and X870E. Memory support is dual-channel DDR5 up to 192 GB, with rated speeds of DDR5-5600 in 2x1R / 2x2R configurations and DDR5-3600 with 4 DIMMs populated; ECC UDIMMs are supported subject to motherboard support. The CPU exposes 28 native PCIe lanes (24 usable), 4 native USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) ports and 1 native USB 2.0 port, plus USB Type-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode. NVMe boot and RAID 0/1/5/10 are supported. Integrated AMD Radeon Graphics (2 cores, 2200 MHz) provide a display output for troubleshooting and light desktop use, while the chip is fully unlocked for overclocking with Precision Boost 2, Precision Boost Overdrive, Curve Optimizer voltage offsets, AMD EXPO memory overclocking and Ryzen Master support.
