Overview
The ASRock B550 Taichi Razer Edition is a full-sized ATX motherboard built on the AMD B550 chipset, designed for AMD AM4 socket processors including Ryzen 3000, 4000 G-Series, and 5000 Series desktop CPUs (note: not compatible with Ryzen 5 3400G or Ryzen 3 3200G). The board measures 12.0 in × 9.6 in (30.5 cm × 24.4 cm) and features a matte black PCB with a 2 oz copper layer and high-density glass fabric construction for improved signal integrity. At the heart of the power delivery is a 16-phase digital VRM using Dr.MOS stages rated at 50A each, backed by 60A premium power chokes and Nichicon 12K Black polymer capacitors sourced from Japan. This robust VRM design supports stable overclocking headroom for Ryzen 5000 series processors. The board carries four DDR4 DIMM slots in dual-channel configuration supporting up to 128 GB of system memory. Memory speeds up to DDR4 5200+ (OC) are listed in the specifications, with native support for XMP profiles.
