The ASRock Phantom Gaming Z790 Riptide WiFi 7 is a full-size ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z790 chipset, designed to support Intel 12th, 13th, and 14th Generation Core processors in the LGA1700 socket. It ships in a classic black aesthetic that suits most gaming and enthusiast builds. Power delivery is handled by a 16+1+1 phase design rated at 90A per phase (Smart Power Stage) for the CPU VCore and GT domains, paired with enlarged heatsink armor and two 8-pin Hi-Density power connectors to sustain demanding loads. The board sits on an 8-layer, server-grade low-loss PCB that improves signal integrity across both the PCIe 5.0 bus and the high-speed memory subsystem. Memory support spans four DDR5 DIMM slots with a maximum capacity of 256 GB.
