The ASRock X870E Taichi WiFi is a flagship EATX motherboard built on the AMD X870E chipset, designed to support AMD Socket AM5 processors including Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series. It is engineered for enthusiasts and power users who demand maximum performance, comprehensive connectivity, and long-term reliability from their platform. At the heart of its power delivery sits a robust 24+2+1 phase configuration rated at 110A SPS for VCore and SOC, paired with ASRock Hi-Density Power connectors. These connectors are engineered to handle the elevated current demands of CPU overclocking more safely than standard 8-pin and ATX 24-pin designs. The board uses a server-grade low-loss PCB with 8 layers and 2oz copper, which improves signal integrity and supports both PCIe 5.0 graphics and M.2 storage, while also contributing to enhanced memory overclocking headroom. Storage capabilities are extensive: one Blazing M.2 slot (M2_1) operates at PCIe Gen 5 x4, delivering up to 128 Gb/s bandwidth, while three additional Hyper M.2 slots run at PCIe Gen 4 x4 (64 Gb/s each). Six SATA3 6.0 Gb/s connectors round out the storage options, with RAID 0, 1, and 10 support for both SATA and NVMe devices.
