The ASRock Z490 Pro4 is an ATX form factor motherboard built on the Intel Z490 chipset, designed exclusively for 10th Generation Intel Core processors using the LGA 1200 socket. It measures 12.0 x 8.8 inches (30.5 x 22.4 cm) and features a solid capacitor design with a Sapphire Black PCB finish. Power delivery is handled by a 10-phase digital VRM incorporating ASRock’s Premium 50A Power Choke, which the manufacturer states provides up to three times improved saturation current compared to conventional chokes. The board supports Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0 Technology, Intel K-Series unlocked CPUs, and ASRock BCLK Full-range Overclocking, as well as ASRock Base Frequency Boost (BFB) Technology for non-K processors.
