The ASRock Z790M-ITX WiFi DDR5 is a feature-dense Mini-ITX motherboard built on the Intel Z790 chipset, designed for 12th and 13th Generation Intel Core processors using the LGA1700 socket. Despite its compact 17.0 cm x 17.0 cm (6.7-in x 6.7-in) footprint, this board packs an impressive set of capabilities that rival much larger form factors, making it an ideal platform for space-conscious enthusiasts and compact system builders. At the heart of the power delivery is a 7+1+1 phase design featuring 50A Dr.MOS integrated power stages for the VCore and GT domains. This design enables stable, efficient power to the CPU even under sustained workloads. An 8-layer PCB further supports signal integrity and thermal headroom, particularly during memory overclocking. Memory support comes via two DDR5 DIMM slots capable of holding up to 64 GB total. The board supports DDR5 speeds up to 7000+ MHz (OC) and is compatible with Intel XMP 3.0 profiles for simplified memory tuning. The dual-channel configuration ensures strong bandwidth for content creation and gaming workloads. Storage options are well-suited to a high-performance compact build: two Hyper M.2 slots (both PCIe Gen4 x4, one also supporting SATA3) and four SATA3 6.0 Gb/s connectors.
