The ASRock Z890 Steel Legend WiFi is a full-size ATX motherboard designed for Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors using the LGA1851 socket. Built around Intel's Z890 chipset, it targets enthusiasts and performance builders who need robust overclocking headroom, high-speed storage, and modern connectivity under one roof. At the heart of its power delivery sits an 18+1+1+1+1 phase design powered by Dr.MOS Smart Power Stage (SPS) controllers rated at 80A for VCore, GT, and SA rails. ASRock's exclusive 20K Black capacitors raise capacitance from a typical 560uF to 1000uF per unit and carry a rated lifespan of 20,000 hours, helping stabilise voltage under sustained workloads. Hi-Density Power connectors on both the 24-pin ATX and dual 8-pin CPU headers are engineered to handle the elevated current demands of overclocked Intel Core Ultra CPUs. The 2oz copper inner-layer PCB reinforces signal integrity and thermal dissipation across the board. Memory support spans four DDR5 DIMM slots with a maximum capacity of 256GB, certified for speeds up to 9466MHz via XMP 3.0 overclocking profiles. CUDIMM (Clocked Unbuffered DIMM) compatibility is included. ASRock's Memory OC Shield reduces electromagnetic interference around the DIMM slots to improve stability at high frequencies. Storage is led by a Blazing M.2 slot (M2_1) connected directly to the CPU via PCIe Gen 5 x4, delivering up to 128GB/s sequential bandwidth for next-generation NVMe drives.
