The ASUS Prime B460M-A is a Micro-ATX motherboard built around the Intel B460 chipset, designed to pair with 10th Generation Intel Core, Pentium Gold, and Celeron processors in the LGA 1200 socket. Measuring 9.6 × 9.2 inches (24.4 × 23.4 cm), it fits standard mATX chassis while delivering a capable feature set for home office builds, productivity workstations, and entry-level DIY desktop systems. Memory support spans four DDR4 DIMM slots capable of holding up to 128 GB of Non-ECC Unbuffered RAM at speeds of 2133 / 2400 / 2666 / 2800 / 2933 MHz, with Intel XMP profile support for compatible kits. ASUS OptiMem trace routing is employed to preserve signal integrity and improve memory stability across all four slots. Storage options are generous for the platform: two M.2 Socket 3 (M-key) slots support 2242 / 2260 / 2280 form-factor drives — M.2_1 accepts both SATA and PCIe modes, while M.2_2 operates in PCIe 3.0 x4 mode — alongside six SATA 6 Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 support and Intel Rapid Storage Technology.
