Overview
The ASUS Prime GeForce RTX 5070 Ti OC Edition is an enthusiast-grade graphics card built on NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture, combining high-end gaming performance with thoughtful engineering for a wide range of system builds. At its core, the card houses 8960 CUDA Cores and 16 GB of fast GDDR7 memory on a 256-bit interface running at 28 Gbps, enabling fluid high-resolution gaming and demanding creative workloads alike. In OC mode the boost clock reaches 2527 MHz, while the default mode targets 2497 MHz — a modest but meaningful factory overclock that ASUS has validated through its Auto-Extreme automated manufacturing process. This single-pass soldering approach reduces thermal stress on components and eliminates harsh cleaning chemicals, supporting both reliability and a lower manufacturing footprint. The Prime RTX 5070 Ti adopts a 2.5-slot form factor with an SFF-Ready Enthusiast rating, making it compatible with a growing ecosystem of smaller chassis that formally support the specification. Three Axial-Tech fans work in tandem with a carefully routed heatsink and heat-pipe array to draw heat away from the GPU die and VRAM, leveraging chassis side-panel airflow for additional thermal headroom. A dual-BIOS switch lets you choose between Performance mode — which runs a more aggressive fan curve for lower GPU temperatures — and Quiet mode, which moderates fan speeds at moderate thermal loads while preserving the same power target. Connectivity covers up to four simultaneous displays at resolutions up to 7680 × 4320 (8K) via a combination of HDMI and DisplayPort outputs (HDCP supported). The card connects via PCI Express 5.0 and draws supplementary power through a single 16-pin connector; ASUS recommends a minimum 750 W power supply. OpenGL 4.6 is supported. On the software side, the card supports NVIDIA's Fifth-Generation Tensor Cores with FP4 precision and DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation, Fourth-Generation RT Cores for mega-geometry ray tracing, and new Streaming Multiprocessors optimised for neural shaders. Over 700 games and applications currently support RTX features including ray tracing and AI-accelerated rendering.
