The enclosure is precision-machined from aluminum alloy, which not only lends a premium, durable feel but also acts as a passive heatsink. Included thermal pads sit between the drive and the chassis wall to help draw heat away from the SSD during sustained workloads, helping the drive maintain consistent transfer speeds over extended sessions. Installation requires no screwdriver. A pin-design and thumbscrew system secures the M.2 drive inside the enclosure, so swapping drives is fast and accessible even without a toolkit. The enclosure supports M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 form factors with M-key or B+M key interfaces, covering the vast majority of consumer NVMe drives up to 2 TB in capacity.
