The ASUS ROG STRIX Z890-I Gaming WiFi is a premium Mini-ITX motherboard engineered for Intel Core Ultra Processors (Series 2), delivering high-end gaming and AI workload performance within a compact 6.7 x 6.7 inch (17 cm x 17 cm) footprint. Built on the Intel Z890 chipset, it brings flagship-tier capabilities to small-form-factor builds without compromise. At the heart of its connectivity is Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) with 2x2 antenna support across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, capable of up to 5.8 Gbps transfer rates, paired with Bluetooth 5.4 and a wired Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet port with ASUS LANGuard protection. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports on the rear I/O provide ultra-fast 40 Gbps data transfer and support DisplayPort video output at up to 8K@60Hz (with DSC) or dual 4K@60Hz. Memory support spans two DDR5 DIMM slots accommodating up to 128 GB, with overclocked speeds reaching 9200+ MT/s via XMP and ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile III (AEMP III), including support for Clocked Unbuffered DIMMs (CUDIMM) in dual-channel configuration. Storage is handled by two PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slots (types 2230/2242/2260/2280) and two SATA 6 Gb/s ports (available via the included ROG FPS Card), with Intel Rapid Storage Technology enabling PCIe RAID 0/1 and SATA RAID 0/1. Expansion is provided through a single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot. The rear USB panel offers 9 ports total: 2x Thunderbolt 4 (USB Type-C), 1x USB 20 Gbps (Type-C), 3x USB 10 Gbps (Type-A), 1x USB 5 Gbps (Type-A), and 2x USB 2.0 (Type-A).
