The ASUS TUF Gaming B550M-Plus (Wi-Fi) is a Micro-ATX motherboard built on the AMD B550 chipset, designed for the AM4 socket and compatible with AMD Ryzen 5000 Series, 4000 G-Series, and 3000 Series desktop processors. Measuring 9.6 x 9.6 inches (24.4 x 24.4 cm), it fits compact and mid-tower cases while delivering a feature set typically associated with larger form factors. At the heart of the board is an 8+2 DrMOS power stage design paired with a ProCool connector and Digi+ VRM digital power control, providing stable voltage delivery for demanding multi-core workloads. Comprehensive thermal management is handled by dedicated VRM heatsinks, a fanless PCH heatsink, an aluminum M.2 heatsink, and multiple hybrid fan headers controllable via Fan Xpert 2+. Storage flexibility is a standout trait: two M.2 slots are provided — one via the CPU running PCIe 4.0 x4 or SATA (Type 2242/2260/2280), and one via the B550 chipset running PCIe 3.0 x4 or SATA (Type 2242/2260/2280/22110) — alongside four SATA 6 Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, and 10 support. Networking is handled by an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 module (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, 2x2 MIMO, up to 2.4 Gbps theoretical max, dual-band 2.4/5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.1) and a Realtek RTL8125B 2.5 Gigabit wired Ethernet controller with TUF LANGuard surge protection.
