The Cooler Master MasterFrame 700 is an open-air full-tower chassis built around a unique three-part modular frame: a central motherboard tray flanked by two adjustable side wings. Four heavy-duty variable-friction hinges connect the wings to the tray, enabling smooth repositioning at any angle. Allen keys are included to fine-tune hinge tension so the wings can hold heavier radiator assemblies without drifting. The chassis operates in two distinct configurations. In Open-Air Frame mode it stands vertically, putting components on display behind an oversized panoramic tempered glass panel that provides a wide viewing angle. In Test Bench mode the entire frame lays flat horizontally, moving power and cooling hardware away from the motherboard area to make component swapping and overclocking sessions more convenient. The side wings can also fold toward the CPU socket and GPU zone to concentrate airflow precisely where it is needed. Hardware compatibility is extensive. The MasterFrame 700 accepts motherboards from Mini-ITX all the way up to SSI-EEB (14 × 14 in), SSI-CEB, XL-ATX, E-ATX, ATX, and Micro-ATX. Two ATX power supplies can be mounted simultaneously on the rear of the motherboard tray — useful for dual-PSU or extreme overclocking builds. Eight expansion slots accommodate multi-GPU and high-slot-count PCIe cards, with GPU clearance reaching up to 450 mm (310 mm recommended for maximum compatibility). Storage is handled by seven 2.5-inch bays (three dedicated SSD brackets plus four on the PSU cover) and up to four combo 2.5-in/3.5-in bays on the PSU cover. No optical drive bays are included. The I/O panel provides two USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and a combined 3.5 mm headset jack. Cooling headroom is substantial. Each side wing accepts up to a 280 mm or 360 mm radiator, and the top position supports up to a 360 mm or 420 mm radiator, for a potential total of three radiators simultaneously when used in Test Bench mode. Optional fan mounts on the side wings accommodate 3× 120 mm or 2× 140 mm fans per side. No fans are pre-installed. The open-air architecture itself provides unrestricted ambient airflow to all components. A 100 mm × 100 mm VESA mount on the frame allows wall-mounting for display purposes; Cooler Master recommends limiting wall-mounted complete systems to under 14 kg and verifying applicable VESA weight standards. The three-part frame can be fully disassembled for painting, wrapping, or other modifications.
