The Corsair MP700 PRO 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD is a PCIe Gen 5.0 x4, NVMe 2.0 internal solid-state drive built for demanding workloads and next-generation platforms. Seated in the compact M.2 2280 form factor, it slots directly into compatible desktop and laptop motherboards without occupying a drive bay, making it an efficient upgrade for space-conscious builds. At the heart of the MP700 PRO is a 3D TLC NAND array paired with the high-bandwidth PCIe Gen 5 interface. This combination enables sequential read speeds of up to 11,700 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 9,600 MB/s under CrystalDiskMark conditions — a substantial step above Gen 4 drives. Random read performance reaches up to 1.4 million IOPS and random write up to 1.5 million IOPS at QD32, which translates to snappy application launches, faster game-level streaming, and reduced stutter during heavy multitasking. Reliability is addressed through a rated endurance of 700 TBW and an MTBF figure of 1,600,000 hours.
