A single 12V rail topology simplifies power delivery to the CPU and GPU, while an integrated DC-DC converter maintains tighter regulation on the 3.3V and 5V lines — important for the stability of storage drives and USB peripherals. Active Power Factor Correction (APFC) improves input efficiency and reduces harmonic distortion on the AC line.
