The Fractal Design Mood (model FD-C-MOD1N-02) is a Mini-ITX small-form-factor tower cabinet built for builders who want serious performance in a minimal living-room-friendly footprint. Measuring just 212 × 212 × 453 mm and weighing 4.6 kg net, the pillar-style chassis keeps desk space reclaimed without sacrificing hardware headroom. The exterior is finished in a breathable fabric enclosure that slides off after releasing the rear panel, giving unobstructed access to the entire build. That same rear panel is secured tool-lessly, and both 2.5-inch SSD brackets use a push-to-lock mechanism so drive swaps require no screwdrivers. Cooling is handled primarily by the included 180 mm Dynamic fan mounted at the top, drawing air upward through the case. The front accepts up to two 120 mm or 140 mm fans, and the front radiator mount supports configurations up to 280 mm. A rear magnetic filter mesh catches dust before it reaches internal components. For connectivity the front I/O panel delivers one USB Type-C port running at 20 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2×2), two USB Type-A ports at 5 Gbps (USB 3.0), and a combo audio/microphone jack alongside the power button – a notably capable I/O panel for a case of this size.
