The Fractal Design Node 804 is a Micro ATX and Mini-ITX compatible mid-tower case built around a distinctive dual-chamber internal layout. By physically separating hot-running components such as the PSU and storage drives from the motherboard, CPU, and GPU, the Node 804 promotes focused airflow paths that keep thermals in check without requiring aggressive fan speeds. The front panel carries a minimalistic aesthetic with a brushed aluminium finish, keeping the exterior clean while the interior gets to work. A clear window on the left side panel lets you see your build at a glance, and the right panel is a solid steel construction. The case ships with three Fractal Design Silent Series R2 120 mm hydraulic-bearing fans running at 1000 RPM — one at each rear position and one additional unit — with mounting space for up to ten fans in total across the front, top, and rear positions. A fan controller is included. Water-cooling builders are well served by four simultaneous radiator positions: two 240 mm slots in the front (one in each chamber) and two more on top — one accepting 240 mm and another accommodating up to 280 mm when hard drive bays are repositioned. Radiator thickness support reaches up to 60 mm at the front and 130 mm at the top, giving generous clearance for high-performance units. Storage flexibility is a standout strength.
