The Fractal Design Pop XL Silent is a full-tower PC cabinet engineered for builders who want generous internal space paired with effective noise reduction. Designed to accommodate E-ATX motherboards up to 280 mm wide, as well as standard ATX, mATX, and Mini-ITX boards, it provides flexibility for a wide range of builds — from productivity workstations to lighter gaming rigs. Noise control is a central priority. Both side panels are constructed from industrial sound-dampened steel with bitumen and sound-damping foam layers, keeping operational noise low without requiring aftermarket modifications. The left panel (solid version) and right panel share this construction for consistent acoustic treatment across the chassis. Four Fractal Design Aspect 12 fans come pre-installed: three at the front and one at the rear. These 120 mm fans feature Trip Wire technology and rifle bearings for consistent airflow and long-term reliability. Additional fan mounts support up to six 120 mm or five 140 mm fans in total, with positions at the front, top, and rear. The top panel is removable to open two additional mounting points and improve airflow on demand. Cooling headroom is substantial: the front accepts radiators up to 360 mm, the top supports up to 280 mm, and the rear accommodates up to 140 mm, making the chassis compatible with high-performance all-in-one liquid coolers. Storage flexibility is handled through three combo drive trays — each supporting one 3.5-inch and one 2.5-inch drive simultaneously — plus a dedicated bracket for two additional 2.5-inch SSDs. Two concealed 5.25-inch bays with a storage drawer and magnetic cover add further versatility. Cable management is aided by pre-mounted fixed cable ties and extra-large pass-through holes, with 19 mm of cable routing space behind the motherboard tray.
