Overview
The Gigabyte B560M Aorus Elite is a Micro ATX motherboard built on the Intel B560 Express Chipset, designed for LGA1200 socket processors from Intel's 10th and 11th Generation Core lineup — including Core i9, i7, i5 (11th Gen) and Core i9, i7, i5, i3, Pentium, and Celeron (10th Gen). Its compact 24.4 cm x 24.4 cm footprint makes it a strong choice for space-efficient mid-range and enthusiast builds without sacrificing feature density. Power delivery is handled by a Direct 12+1 Phases Digital VRM with Low RDS MOSFETs, paired with fully covered MOSFET heatsinks and thick thermal pads to keep VRM temperatures in check during sustained workloads. Shielded memory routing supports memory overclocking up to DDR4 5333 MHz (O.C.) when paired with compatible 11th Gen processors, across 4 x DDR4 DIMM slots for a maximum of 128 GB system memory. XMP profiles are supported, and the board accepts both ECC and non-ECC unbuffered DIMMs, though ECC modules operate in non-ECC mode. Storage connectivity includes two M.2 slots: one CPU-direct M.2 (PCIe 4.0 x4, 2260/2280, 11th Gen only) and one chipset M.2 (PCIe 3.0 x4 or SATA, up to 22110 length), both with Thermal Guard heatsinks. Six SATA 6 Gb/s ports provide additional drive capacity, and the board is Intel Optane Memory Ready. Smart Fan 6 manages up to five fan/pump headers — each rated at up to 2A/24W — with FAN STOP support. Q-Flash Plus allows BIOS updates without installing a CPU, memory, or GPU. The AMI UEFI BIOS (256 Mbit flash) includes EasyTune, Game Boost, @BIOS, Fast Boot, Smart Backup, and an intuitive load-line calibration curve display.
