The GIGABYTE B650E Aorus Tachyon WiFi DDR5 is an ATX-form-factor motherboard built for AMD Socket AM5, supporting AMD Ryzen 7000, Ryzen 8000, and Ryzen 9000 series processors. Anchored by the AMD B650E chipset, it pairs an enthusiast-grade VRM featuring dual 8-pin ATX 12V power connectors and 100% full tantalum polymer capacitors with a 2-DIMM daisy-chain memory trace layout designed to minimise the electrical path between the CPU and memory slots — a configuration Gigabyte states enables DDR5 frequencies up to DDR5-8400 (OC) and beyond. The board provides two DDR5 DIMM sockets accommodating up to 128 GB of system memory (64 GB per single DIMM), with native support for DDR5-4400/4800/5200 and overclocked profiles spanning DDR5-5600 through DDR5-8400 MT/s. Both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles are supported from BIOS, and Gigabyte's SPD write utility allows users to define and save custom memory profiles to EXPO or XMP 3.0 slots for portability.
