The GIGABYTE B660M Aorus Pro AX is a Micro-ATX motherboard built on the Intel B660 Express Chipset and the LGA1700 socket, supporting 12th Generation and 13th Generation Intel Core, Pentium Gold, and Celeron processors. It measures 24.4 cm x 24.4 cm and fits standard Micro-ATX enclosures. The board features a 12+1+1 Twin Hybrid Digital VRM design with 60A DrMOS power stages, backed by fully covered MOSFET heatsinks to manage thermals under sustained workloads. Memory support spans four DDR4 DIMM slots in a dual-channel configuration, accommodating up to 128 GB total capacity (32 GB per DIMM). DDR4 speeds range from 2133 MHz up to 5333 MHz (O.C.) with Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) support and shielded memory routing for improved overclocking stability. Fan management runs through Smart Fan 6 with five fan/pump headers supporting hybrid Fan Stop functionality. The BIOS uses a licensed AMI UEFI implementation stored on a 256 Mbit flash chip, with Q-Flash Plus enabling BIOS updates without an installed CPU or memory.
