The HYTE Y40 is a 50-litre ATX mid-tower cabinet finished in Black and White that pairs a bold two-panel panoramic tempered-glass design with a comprehensive feature set for modern builds. Every external edge is precision-bevelled, and the dual-piece glass enclosure provides an unobstructed view of installed components from multiple angles. Vertical GPU mounting is a centrepiece of the Y40’s layout. The case accommodates graphics cards up to 422 mm in length and 94 mm in height — with 80 mm or less recommended for optimal airflow — across four full expansion slots. A canopied PCIe 4.0 x16 riser cable is included in the box, enabling vertical GPU orientation straight out of the packaging. An additional six half-height expansion slots sit behind the primary GPU zone, utilised via the riser canopy. Cooling flexibility is extensive. The side mount supports radiators up to 280 mm wide and up to 120 mm thick, accommodating large custom-loop radiators. The top mount accepts radiators up to 360 mm, enabling dual-radiator configurations when combined with the side position. The rear accepts a single 120 mm radiator. Two fans are pre-installed: one 120 mm / 1300 RPM unit at the rear and one 120 mm / 1300 RPM unit at the bottom intake below the PSU shroud. The side panel additionally supports two 120 mm or 140 mm fans. The top supports three 120 mm fans. Air coolers up to 183 mm tall are supported.
