The Intel Core i9-14900KS (BX8071514900KS) is the binned flagship of Intel’s 14th Gen Core desktop family, built on the Raptor Lake architecture and Intel 7 process. It pairs 8 Performance-cores and 16 Efficient-cores for 24 total cores and 32 threads, with a Performance-core base clock of 3.2 GHz, Efficient-core base of 2.4 GHz, and a Max Turbo Frequency of 6.2 GHz via Intel Thermal Velocity Boost. Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 hits 5.9 GHz, while P-cores reach 5.7 GHz and E-cores 4.5 GHz under load. A 36 MB Intel Smart Cache backed by 32 MB of L2 keeps high-thread workloads fed, while Intel Thread Director helps Windows route gaming and productivity threads to the right core type.
