The Intel Core Ultra 5 225F (model BX80768225F) is a 5th-generation Arrow Lake desktop processor built for mid-range PC builders who want modern architecture without paying flagship prices. Fabbed on TSMC's N3B process node, it combines six Performance-cores and four Efficient-cores in a hybrid design — a configuration Intel calls its Thread Director architecture — to distribute workloads intelligently between core types for responsive everyday multitasking and sustained application throughput. On the frequency side, the six Performance-cores run at a 3.3 GHz base and boost up to 4.9 GHz, while the four Efficient-cores operate between 2.7 GHz and 4.4 GHz. This gives the chip the headroom to handle bursty single-threaded tasks as well as sustained parallel workloads. The processor fits the LGA1851 socket and carries a 65 W processor base power rating, with a maximum turbo power draw of 121 W — a manageable envelope that lets builders use a quality mid-tower case without exotic cooling.
