The Kingston Server Premier KSM32RD8/32HD is a 32GB DDR4 ECC Registered DIMM engineered for rack-mount servers, workstations, and enterprise platforms that demand data integrity and continuous operation. Operating under the Server Premier product series, this module is a direct fit for environments where unplanned downtime or silent data corruption is not an option. At its core, the module is organised as a 4G × 72-bit array constructed from eighteen 2G × 8-bit FBGA components in a dual-rank (2Rx8) configuration. ECC (Error Correcting Code) logic continuously detects and corrects single-bit memory errors and detects multi-bit errors, making it suitable for always-on server workloads. The registered (buffered) design offloads electrical load from the memory controller, supporting high-density server configurations. The Serial Presence Detect (SPD) is factory-programmed to JEDEC DDR4-3200 standard timings of 22-22-22 at 1.2 V, so the module initialises correctly without manual BIOS tuning. Beyond DDR4-3200, the module supports downward-compatible data transfer rates including PC4-2933, PC4-2666, PC4-2400, PC4-2133, PC4-1866, and PC4-1600, giving it flexibility across different server generations.
