The Lian Li A3-mATX Wood Edition is a compact Micro-ATX mini tower born from a collaboration between Lian Li and DAN Cases designer Daniel Hansen. It pairs steel construction with genuine black walnut trim on the front panel, bringing a warm, minimalist aesthetic to a performance-oriented chassis. At just 26.3 litres, the case punches well above its size class, accommodating full-sized components that would feel at home in a mid-tower build. Three sides of the enclosure feature mesh panels to promote airflow, while the open-space front panel design allows fresh air to reach the PSU when it is front-mounted with the fan facing outward. All exterior panels are removable without tools, and modular brackets simplify cable routing and installation. A removable bottom dust filter keeps the interior clean over time, and a second front dust filter is also included. The A3-mATX supports Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards and accepts ATX, SFX, SFX-L, and Lian Li Edge power supplies up to 220 mm in length, giving builders flexibility with PSU selection. An anti-sag GPU bracket ships in the box and accommodates graphics cards up to 415 mm long with up to a 4-slot thickness — though a 25 mm bottom fan reduces GPU thickness clearance to 61 mm. CPU cooler height clearance reaches 165 mm, suitable for most tower air coolers. Cooling headroom is a standout feature. The top position fits a 360 mm or 240 mm radiator; the side supports up to a 360 mm, 280 mm, or 240 mm radiator; and the bottom can house a 240 mm radiator, or a 360 mm when using a bottom fan mount. Fan slots across the top (3 × 120 mm or 2 × 140 mm), side (3 × 120 mm or 2 × 140 mm), bottom (3 × 120 mm), and rear (1 × 120 mm) total up to ten fan positions. Note that installing a radiator-plus-fan combo leaves no space for a GPU in the same zone. Storage options include two 2.5-inch SSD trays and one additional bay accepting a 2.5-inch SSD or a 3.5-inch HDD. The front I/O panel provides two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C port, a microphone jack, and an HD audio jack alongside the power button. Four expansion slots are available.
