The Lian Li Lancool 216 ARGB is a mid-tower chassis designed around maximising airflow while accommodating a wide range of build configurations. Its continuous mesh panel runs from the front face all the way to the top of the case, and a secondary mesh section is integrated into the PSU shroud side, ensuring intake air can reach every component without restriction. The modular rear panel allows users to shift the motherboard mounting position upward for air-cooled builds or downward to create a 63 mm gap at the top that suits AIO or custom water-cooling radiators up to 360 mm. Out of the box, the case ships with two 160 mm ARGB PWM fans at the front and one 140 mm PWM fan at the rear. The 160 mm ARGB fans feature dual LED channels — one ring on the outer rim and one at the blade shaft — controllable independently via a 5 V 3-pin motherboard header. A SATA-powered fan hub in the second chamber supports up to four ARGB and PWM fans simultaneously. A dedicated PCIe fan bracket at the rear accepts a 120 mm fan that improves GPU exhaust without obstructing GPU I/O, and the PCIe expansion panel can be rotated to mount the GPU vertically (a riser cable, such as the Lian Li PCIe 4.0 X16 riser with 112.7 mm hole spacing, is required and sold separately). The front I/O module — housing a power button, reset button, audio jack, two USB 3.0 ports, and one USB Type-C port — can be relocated to the lower-left of the front panel for alternative desk setups. Cable management is handled through three large velcro straps along the grommet bar, three small routing clips on the rear panel, and two additional velcro straps near the PSU chamber.
