The Lian Li Odyssey X (model TR-01A) is a full tower PC chassis designed for enthusiast builds that demand flexibility, premium materials, and serious cooling headroom. Constructed from sandblasted anodised aluminium and steel, with 4 mm tinted tempered glass panels on both sides, the Odyssey X delivers a refined finish alongside robust structural rigidity. One of the defining characteristics of this chassis is its three-mode configuration system. In Dynamic mode the case stands upright in a conventional orientation, with front, top, and side fan mounts each supporting three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans. Dynamic-R (Rotate) mode rotates the motherboard tray to bring the GPU face-forward and shifts the primary radiator mount to the base, which accepts up to a 480 mm radiator. Performance mode flips the chassis 90 degrees for optimised airflow, with the front accepting up to a 480/420/360/280/240 mm radiator and the top accepting up to 360/280/240 mm. Regardless of which mode you choose, the case fits EEB, E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards across all eight expansion slots. Water-cooling builders will appreciate the dual-radiator configurations available: Dynamic-R and Performance modes each accommodate two radiator positions simultaneously — for example, a 480 mm combined with a 280 mm, or two 360 mm units — and an adjustable water pump mounting bracket is included in the box. GPU length clearance reaches up to 423 mm, PSU clearance up to 280 mm, and CPU cooler height clearance up to 167 mm. Cable routing is handled via five dedicated channels equipped with Velcro straps and rubber-grommet-lined pass-through holes. In Performance mode the Dynamic mode top cover converts into a cable cover, keeping the interior tidy from any viewing angle. Storage is accommodated via three bays behind the motherboard tray, each supporting either a 3.5-inch HDD or a 2.5-inch SSD. The relocatable front I/O module carries two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C port, and one HD Audio jack, and can be repositioned and reoriented to suit whichever mode is in use.
