Overview
The MSI H310M Pro VH is a Micro-ATX motherboard built on Intel's H310 chipset, designed for LGA 1151 socket processors. It supports Intel 8th and 9th Generation Core, Pentium Gold, and Celeron processors, making it a dependable foundation for home office PCs, entry-level workstations, and budget desktop builds. For memory, the board provides two DDR4 DIMM slots capable of holding up to 32 GB of RAM in a dual-channel configuration. Supported speeds are DDR4 2133, 2400, and 2666 MHz, and the board is compatible with Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) modules. Only non-ECC, unbuffered memory is supported, which is standard for consumer H310 platforms. Expansion options include one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot for a discrete graphics card and two PCIe 2.0 x1 slots for additional peripherals. The PCIe x16 slot features MSI's PCI-E Steel Armor reinforcement to protect heavier graphics cards against flex and electromagnetic interference.
