The MSI MAG B365M Mortar is a Micro-ATX motherboard built on Intel's B365 chipset, designed for LGA1151 socket processors. It supports Intel 8th and 9th Generation Core, Pentium Gold, and Celeron CPUs, making it a practical platform for both system builds and upgrades centred on that processor generation. Memory headroom is a highlight: four DDR4 slots accept up to 64 GB of non-ECC unbuffered RAM across dual channels, with official speeds of 2133, 2400, and 2666 MHz, plus Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) support for tuned kits. Expansion follows with one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot for a discrete graphics card and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots for additional cards. Storage options are generous. Six SATA 6 Gb/s ports handle conventional drives, while the single M.2 Key-M slot runs at up to PCIe 3.0 x4 speeds for NVMe SSDs — MSI markets this as Turbo M.2.
