Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black Dual-Tower CPU Air Cooler with 2× NF-A15 140mm Fans

The Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black is the all-black variant of Noctua's flagship NH-D15 dual-tower CPU air cooler. It carries forward the same core engineering — a six-heatpipe dual-tower heatsink paired with two NF-A15 140mm PWM fans — while wrapping every component in an all-black finish: black-coated aluminium fins, black fan blades, black anti-vibration pads, black fan clips, and black mounting hardware, making it a natural fit for stealth-themed builds or any colour scheme that benefits from a neutral base. The heatsink uses a copper base and copper heatpipes with aluminium cooling fins, all joined via soldered interfaces rather than press-fit connections. Soldering ensures the thermal bond between heatpipes and fins does not degrade over years of heat cycling, which press-fitted coolers can be susceptible to. The fin stack measures 150 mm wide — 10 mm wider than its predecessor, the NH-D14 — with heatpipes spaced further apart to distribute heat more uniformly across the larger surface area. Each of the two supplied NF-A15 HS-PWM chromax.black fans spins up to 1,500 RPM (±10%) and produces a maximum airflow of 140.2 m³/h at a peak noise level of 24.6 dB(A). Using the included NA-RC7 Low-Noise Adaptors reduces the ceiling to 1,200 RPM and drops noise to 19.2 dB(A). Minimum speed at 20% PWM signal is 300 RPM. The fans use Noctua's SSO2 self-stabilising oil-pressure bearing and carry an MTTF rating of more than 150,000 hours. A NA-YC1 4-pin PWM splitter cable allows both fans to run from a single motherboard header. In single-fan mode the recessed lower fins provide 66 mm of RAM clearance, accommodating most tall memory heatsinks. In dual-fan mode standard-height RAM up to 32 mm is recommended; in chassis with more than 165 mm CPU cooler clearance the front fan can be shifted upward to accommodate taller modules. The SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system covers Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115x (LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156), and LGA20xx (LGA2066, LGA2011-0, LGA2011-3 Square ILM), as well as AMD AM4 and AM5. The package includes Noctua's NT-H1 pro-grade thermal compound. The cooler is colour-customisable via optional NA-HC3/NA-HC4 heatsink covers and NA-SAVP3 anti-vibration pads (sold separately in black, blue, green, red, yellow, and white).
