Noctua NH-D15 Dual Tower CPU Air Cooler with Dual NF-A15 140mm PWM Fans

The Noctua NH-D15 is a dual-tower CPU air cooler built around a six-heatpipe layout and two NF-A15 140mm PWM fans. Its fin stack measures 150mm wide — 10mm wider than the predecessor NH-D14 — which, combined with the expanded heatpipe spacing, distributes heat more uniformly across a larger surface area for improved thermal efficiency. Both included NF-A15 fans use Noctua's SSO2 (Self-Stabilising Oil-pressure Bearing 2) and spin up to 1500 RPM, delivering a maximum airflow of 140.2 m³/h at a noise level of up to 24.6 dB(A). The supplied NA-RC7 Low-Noise Adaptors (LNA) reduce maximum speed to 1200 RPM, dropping noise to 19.2 dB(A) and airflow to 115.5 m³/h. Minimum speed at 20% PWM duty cycle is 300 RPM, enabling near-silent operation during light workloads. A NA-YC1 4-pin PWM splitter cable lets both fans connect to a single motherboard header. Socket compatibility covers a wide range of current and recent platforms. On the Intel side, the SecuFirm2 mounting system supports LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115x (LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156), and LGA20xx (LGA2066, LGA2011-0 and LGA2011-3 Square ILM). AMD support includes AM5 (backplate required) and AM4. Optional NM-I3 kits, available free of charge from Noctua, extend compatibility to legacy LGA1366 and LGA775 sockets. In single-fan mode the recessed lower fins provide 66mm of RAM clearance, accommodating tall aftermarket memory heatsinks. In dual-fan mode, standard-height RAM up to 32mm is recommended; in chassis with more than 165mm of CPU cooler clearance, the front fan can be raised to allow taller modules. The cooler ships with Noctua's NT-H1 thermal compound, a pro-grade thermal interface material suited to both consumer and professional workstation environments. The NSPR (Noctua Standardised Performance Rating) for this cooler is 183. Each NF-A15 fan carries an MTTF rating of more than 150,000 hours, and the entire NH-D15 package is covered by a 6-year manufacturer's warranty.
