The Noctua NH-D15S Chromax Black (model NH-D15S-CH-BK) is the all-black edition of Noctua's NH-D15S, combining a proven asymmetrical dual-tower heatsink design with a stealth aesthetic that suits modern black-themed builds. Unlike a symmetrical tower, the offset fin stack deliberately clears the first PCIe x16 slot and leaves additional headroom above RAM slots, making it one of the more compatible large-tower coolers available for high-end desktop platforms. At the heart of the cooler is a single NF-A15 HS-PWM chromax.black premium fan mounted between the two towers. The asymmetrical arrangement of the towers means a second 140 mm fan can be added at the front of the heatsink using the included black fan clips for push-pull operation, without encroaching on adjacent slots. The included NA-RC7 Low-Noise Adaptor (L.N.A.) allows users to further reduce fan speed and noise output when thermal headroom permits.
