NOCTUA NH-U12S Redux High Performance Single Tower CPU Air Cooler (Black)

The Noctua NH-U12S Redux is a streamlined, value-oriented take on the established NH-U12S single-tower CPU cooler. Designed around a slim 120 mm profile, it is built to deliver strong thermal performance while maintaining outstanding compatibility with tall RAM modules, PCIe cards, and a wide range of mid-tower and full-tower cases. The cooler ships with Noctua's NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM fan, which spins between 450 RPM at minimum load and 1700 RPM under full load. At maximum speed it moves up to 120.2 m³/h of airflow while keeping acoustical noise at or below 25.1 dB(A), making it suitable for home office builds, media centre PCs, and noise-sensitive workstations alike. The fan uses Noctua's SSO (Self-Stabilising Oil-Pressure) bearing, which is rated for a mean time to failure (MTTF) of over 150,000 hours. The heatsink itself is constructed from nickel-plated copper at the base and heat-pipes, with aluminium cooling fins. It measures 158 mm tall, 125 mm wide, and 45 mm deep without the fan (71 mm deep with fan attached), with a total weight of 710 g including the fan. Noctua's NSPR (Noctua Standardised Performance Rating) for this cooler is 129. Socket compatibility covers a broad range of Intel and AMD platforms: Intel LGA2066, LGA2011-0 and LGA2011-3 (Square ILM), LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1151 and LGA1150, as well as AMD AM4. LGA1700 support has been included since Q4 2021; older purchased units require the separately available NM-i17xx-MP78 upgrade kit. NT-H1 high-grade thermal compound comes pre-applied to the base, reducing setup steps.
