NOCTUA NH-U14S Single Tower CPU Air Cooler

The Noctua NH-U14S is a single-tower CPU air cooler built around a six-heatpipe design and a 140mm NF-A15 PWM fan. It is the flagship 140mm model in Noctua’s NH-U series and is engineered for users who need strong thermal performance without sacrificing acoustic comfort. The included NF-A15 fan uses Noctua’s SSO2 self-stabilising oil-pressure bearing and features Flow Acceleration Channels for aerodynamic efficiency. PWM support allows the motherboard to automatically vary speed between 300 and 1500 RPM. The supplied Low-Noise Adaptor (LNA) caps the fan at 1200 RPM, dropping maximum noise output from 24.6 dB(A) to 19.2 dB(A) — a meaningful reduction for noise-sensitive builds. Maximum airflow is 140.2 m³/h at full speed, falling to 115.5 m³/h with the LNA installed. A 52mm slim heatsink depth ensures full RAM clearance on LGA2011 and LGA2066 platforms, while the 165mm total height fits the majority of mid-tower and full-tower cases. Width including fan and clips is 150mm, keeping the build compatible with multi-GPU SLI and CrossFire configurations that require clearance on either side of the socket. The SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system is included and covers Intel LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1200, LGA2011 (Square ILM), and LGA2066, as well as AMD AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2, FM2+, and AM4 (with AM4 support included since 2019). Optional NM-I3 kits from Noctua extend compatibility to older LGA775 and LGA1366 sockets. Noctua’s NT-H1 thermal compound is included in the box, providing low thermal resistance out of the package. For users wanting extra performance, the cooler ships with fan clips and a second set of anti-vibration pads so an optional second NF-A15 can be added in push/pull configuration, with the rear fan offset by 5mm to reduce tonal noise.
