Overview
The Thermaltake View 270 SP Edition Mid Tower Chassis (model CA-1Y7-00M1WN-02) is a purpose-built showcase enclosure that puts your components on full display through dual tempered glass panels — one on the front and one on the left side. The front panel features a specially designed graphic overlay, giving the build a bold aesthetic without obscuring the internal lighting show. Three Hydraulic Bearing 120mm ARGB Lite fans come pre-installed: two on the right intake side at 1,000 RPM and 22.3 dBA each, and one at the rear exhaust at the same speed and noise level. The ARGB lighting is compatible with motherboard sync software from ASUS, GIGABYTE, MSI, and ASRock, allowing unified lighting control across your entire platform. The chassis accepts up to nine 120mm fans in total across the top, right motherboard side, rear, and PSU cover positions, giving builders extensive airflow configuration options. Cooling ambitions are well catered for: the top of the case supports radiators up to 360mm, 240mm, or 120mm, while the rear accommodates a 120mm radiator. CPU coolers with a maximum height of 180mm fit comfortably, and graphics cards up to 420mm in length are supported. Power supplies up to 220mm in length are compatible, paired with a full-length PSU shroud that conceals cable runs and keeps the lower chamber tidy. Motherboard compatibility spans the full consumer range — Mini-ITX (6.7" × 6.7"), Micro-ATX (9.6" × 9.6"), ATX (12" × 9.6"), and E-ATX (12" × 13") boards all fit within the chassis. Seven expansion slots accommodate multi-GPU or high-slot-count add-in cards. Storage options include two 3.5" HDD bays and up to two 2.5" SSD positions, balancing traditional spinning storage with modern solid-state drives. Front-panel I/O sits on the top panel and includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, and a HD Audio jack for everyday convenience.
