Overview
The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5080 Solid OC White Edition (Model ZT-B50800Q-10P) is a high-performance discrete graphics card built on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. Designed to serve both dedicated gamers and creative professionals, it combines a factory overclocked engine clock of 2640 MHz with 10,752 CUDA cores and 16 GB of GDDR7 video memory running across a 256-bit memory bus at 30 Gbps, delivering substantial memory bandwidth for demanding workloads at high resolutions. The card's IceStorm 3.0 Advanced Cooling system features a larger vapor chamber and BladeLink fans to manage its 360 W TDP, while a reinforced metal mid-frame and metal die-cast backplate add structural rigidity to the 3.5-slot design. FREEZE Fan Stop technology allows the fans to remain idle under light loads, reducing noise. A SPECTRA 2.0 RGB lighting system and SPECTRA LINK port enable synchronisation with compatible Zotac peripherals, while the all-white shroud gives the card a clean aesthetic suited to themed builds. For display connectivity, the card offers three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs with UHBR20 (supporting up to 4K 480 Hz or 8K 165 Hz with DSC) and one HDMI 2.1b port (supporting 4K 120 Hz HDR and 8K 60 Hz HDR), enabling Quad Display output and HDCP 2.3 compliance. It connects to the motherboard via a PCI Express 5.0 x16 slot and is powered through a single 12V-2x6 connector, with an 850 W PSU recommended. NVIDIA platform features supported include DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, fourth-generation RT Cores for full ray tracing, fifth-generation Tensor Cores for AI acceleration, NVIDIA Reflex 2 with Frame Warp for competitive latency reduction, RTX Video Super Resolution, NVIDIA Broadcast, G-SYNC compatibility, and Game Ready and Studio Driver support. The ninth-generation NVENC encoder accelerates video exports in applications such as DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro. SLI is not supported. The ZOTAC GAMING FireStorm utility provides overclocking, fan curve adjustment, voltage monitoring, and SPECTRA RGB control. A GPU Support Stand, SPECTRA LINK cable, and three 8-pin-to-16-pin adapter cables are included in the box.
