The SilverStone Lucid LD03-AF is a Mini-ITX tower cabinet engineered for builders who want a compact, well-ventilated system without sacrificing compatibility with high-end components. At just 25.2 litres (265 mm W × 414 mm H × 230 mm D), it occupies a small footprint yet accommodates full-size CPU coolers up to 190 mm tall and graphics cards up to 309 mm (12.1 inches) long with a width restriction of 167 mm (6.59 inches). The defining upgrade of the LD03-AF over the standard LD03 is the air-inlet cutout machined into the left tinted tempered glass panel. This opening channels ambient air directly toward the GPU, improving thermal headroom for power-hungry graphics cards without requiring any additional hardware. Both side panels and the front panel use a tool-less buckle design for easy removal, keeping the exterior free of exposed screws for a cleaner aesthetic. Cooling is handled by two pre-installed 120 mm fans — one mounted at the top and one at the bottom. The rotated 90-degree motherboard orientation creates a natural stack-effect airflow path: cool air enters from the base, flows across heat-generating components, and exhausts upward. The case also supports 120 mm and 240 mm radiators, giving liquid-cooling enthusiasts viable options within the compact chassis. Nylon mesh filters are placed at all air intakes and are removable without tools, making routine dust maintenance straightforward.
