The ASUS TUF Gaming B850M-Plus is a Micro-ATX motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset and AMD AM5 socket, delivering a compact yet capable platform for AMD Ryzen 9000, Ryzen 8000, and Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors. Its robust power delivery architecture features a 14+2+1 power stage design, with each stage rated at 80A, ensuring stable and efficient power to even high-core-count AMD CPUs under sustained gaming or productivity workloads. Memory performance is a core strength of this board. Two DDR5 DIMM slots support dual-channel configurations up to 256 GB, with speeds officially reaching 8000+ MT/s via AMD EXPO and ASUS AEMP profiles. Non-ECC, unbuffered DDR5 with Die ECC support is confirmed, giving enthusiasts both speed headroom and baseline data integrity. Storage and expansion are equally well-served. Three M.2 Key-M slots are present, with one operating at PCIe 5.0 bandwidth for sequential throughput up to 128 Gbps, enabling next-generation NVMe drives. All M.2 slots support NVMe RAID.
