The ASRock B660M Pro RS is a Micro ATX motherboard built on the Intel B660 chipset, designed to support 12th Generation Intel Core processors via the LGA1700 socket. With an 8-phase digital power design and ASRock Super Alloy components including premium power chokes, high-density glass fabric PCB, and solid capacitors, the board is engineered for stable, sustained CPU performance across workloads ranging from everyday computing to light gaming. Memory support is handled by four DDR4 DIMM slots in dual-channel configuration, natively running at DDR4 3200 MHz and capable of reaching up to DDR4 5333+ MHz with overclocking enabled. Total system memory capacity tops out at 128 GB, and Intel XMP 2.0 profiles are supported for straightforward memory speed tuning. Storage options are a clear strength. The Hyper M.2 slot (M2_1) connects directly to the CPU via PCIe Gen4 x4 at up to 64 Gb/s, while the Ultra M.2 slot (M2_2) supports both SATA3 and PCIe Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s) modes.
